Brunner Selected as AOR for Edgar Snyder & Associates as Partner in Innovation for Overall Brand and Marketing Strategy
Edgar Snyder & Associates is one of the most well-known brands in the Pittsburgh region. With approximately 40 years of experience as a leading personal injury law firm, the company sought a new agency partner to help continue the evolution of its brand and marketing strategy. Effective immediately, Brunner has been selected as agency of record, responsible for overall media planning and creative strategy, including traditional media buying as well as paid social, digital display, and digital video.
“We wanted an agency that would help usher in a new era for the ESA brand and would bring the right combination of creativity and strategic thinking,” said Michael Rosenzweig, the firm's managing partner.
ESA wants to help people understand how to best protect their rights through an often-convoluted legal process, by identifying an advocate to help them navigate difficult and confusing circumstances often associated with experiencing an injury. ESA’s care for clients and the local community played a role in the agency selection process with Brunner.
ESA and Brunner have a shared local history, founded around the same time and with a similar passion for local organizations and causes that make the region stronger. These commonalities were important factors when selecting a new agency partner.

Ken Johns, Brunner partner and chief client officer, leads the agency’s account management, data science, and creative teams. In his 20+ year career, Ken has worked at several agencies that enabled him to develop a solutions-oriented mindset. Clients cite him as someone who knows how to leverage marketing to move their business forward quickly. For years, Ken has worked toward building a team that keeps the consumer at the forefront of ideation. This has led to Brunner creating compelling and award-winning client work. Prior to rejoining Brunner, Ken worked as a group account director for The Kaiser Group. Ken is a past member of the 4As Strategy Committee and currently serves as a mentor in the Pittsburgh Fellows program. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
