Brunner Honored for Integrated Marketing, PR Campaigns at PRSA Renaissance Awards
Agency takes home four awards for three clients in the home category
On Jan. 27, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pittsburgh chapter hosted its annual Renaissance Awards, held at the Carnegie Science Center. The event honors local organizations, agencies and businesses as well as communicators for their innovative work across all aspects of public relations and marketing communications.
In the Integrated Marketing Campaign category, the Brunner team took home a Renaissance Award for its 2021 marketing campaign for client The Home Depot Rental, and an Award of Merit for its 2021 marketing campaign for client Rinnai.
In the Media Relations category, Brunner received a Renaissance Award and an Award of Merit for its trade media relations strategies for clients Reliance Worldwide Corporation (RWC) and Rinnai, respectively.

The Home Depot Rental: Integrated Marketing Campaign
In 2021, The Home Depot Rental challenged Brunner to target both professional contractors and DIYers through an innovative, compelling integrated marketing campaign that would increase awareness, consideration, and conversions to rent their large equipment, tools, and trucks. The result? Record-setting weeks in rental transactions and surpassed objectives.
Rinnai: Integrated Marketing Campaign + Media Relations
After Brunner was selected as Rinnai’s North American B2B Agency Of Record, Brunner developed an omnichannel marketing strategy to increase brand awareness across the portfolio. The Brunner team leveraged SEM, paid social, SEO, PR, content, influencer marketing, trade media and research to drive positive results across all channels.
RWC: Media Relations
With an emphasis placed on trade media relations, Brunner helped RWC achieve significant results while reaching key audiences for each of their portfolio brands, including 162 earned media opportunities 20 consecutive months with no negative sentiment.
