Brunner Promotes Michael Rohn, Kevin Corfield and Derek Julin; Welcomes the Return of Dan Magdich
Agency deepens technical and creative capabilities with continued talent advancement
Pittsburgh (February 6, 2020) – In a year where Brunner experienced growth, deepening expertise and a continuously flourishing client line-up, none of the success would have been possible without the incredible people walking the halls of the agency. That’s why Brunner is thrilled to announce the promotion of three and the return of one of its top creative talents

We’re excited to recognize their efforts and congratulate them on these new milestones.”
Recent promotions include:
- Kevin Corfield has been promoted to Creative Director
o Corfield first joined Brunner in 2005 as a Senior Copywriter. After nearly three years with the agency, his career took him on a different path: Howard Merell Partners. After a stint there as Associate Creative Director, he rejoined Brunner in 2010 and continues to be one of the agency’s most respected creative resources. With a background as a writer, he’s spent time with IdeaMill and Marc USA and is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.
- Derek Julin has been promoted to Creative Director
o Julin, like Corfield, is a Brunner veteran. He’s spent almost 12 years with the organization successfully taking on roles spanning from Designer to Art Director to Associate Creative Director and now Creative Director. Together with Corfield, Julin will lead a team of talented emerging professionals. A graduate of The Art Institutes, Julin also spent time previously with DraftFCB as a Senior Art Director.
- Michael Rohn has been promoted to Senior Application Developer
o Each of Rohn’s carefully selected career choices has enabled him to learn, develop and establish skills that have ultimately benefitted him at Brunner. In his newest role as Senior Application Developer, after being brought on as Junior Application Developer in 2017, Rohn is one of the BHiveLab’s leaders. A graduate of Coding Dojo, Rohn also spent time at GameStop and as an Apple Genius Admin.
In addition to promotions from within, Brunner also welcomed back Dan Magdich as Group Creative Director, Digital Content + Design. An Art Institutes grad and Ten United and Moxie veteran, Magdich joined Brunner in 2013 as Associate Creative Director. He spent nearly four years working on some of Brunner’s most recognizable work including Field & Stream, Huffy Bicycles and YellaWood® brand pressure treated pine. After spending time at Animal Inc. as a Director, he returned to Brunner in 2020.
Outside of the agency Magdich is also a published author whose first book, Hot Dog People and Other Bite-Size Sacrifices, debuted in 2019.
