Brunner Wins in 2012 WebAwards

Pittsburgh, PA (September 12, 2012) – The Web Marketing Association announced today its selections for the 16th annual international WebAward competition, and Pittsburgh-based ad agency, Brunner (www.brunnerworks.com), was honored for two of its websites. The website Brunner created for Cheez Doodles (www.cheezdoodles.com) won the Food Industry Standard of Excellence award, and the Abreva mobile site (www.abreva.com) they created for GlaxoSmithKline was recognized for Outstanding Website.

“It’s always great getting noticed for our digital work – and this year for our work in the mobile space,” said Rick Gardinier, chief digital officer at Brunner. "But we’re seeing great results, particularly with our content strategy for the Abreva mobile website, and that’s what makes us most proud.”

Founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for internet marketing and development, the Web Marketing Association produces the annual WebAward Competition to recognize the best websites in 96 industries. WebAwards are given at three levels—the Best of Industry WebAward, an Outstanding WebAward, or a Standard of Excellence WebAward.
